DJ Music in the Present

As a Disc Jockey you get to listen to a lot of songs. The range of which you get to hear and play DJ Music is amazing. Imagine this, Disc Jockeys are being used for so many events today that we have to be prepared to play the music that clients want to here.

As an example, A Disc Jockey is slowly overtaking bands as the first source of entertainment for marriages. That is why we currently have to be well capable in romantic music because that’s what our new purchasers need to hear. The timing for these kinds of events has to be perfect. You cannot just put in the music and folk will dance to it. In marriages, there are moments that people need to chat while other moment require you to just part and dance. I live for those moments in a marriage because they’re the most sun I have ever had because people are all generally happy during weddings.

Another place that you would see a Disc Jockey is at corporate events. We are slowly becoming synonymous to emcees except naturally for the incontrovertible fact that we play DJ Music from time to time. I love corporate gatherings thanks to the large number of people there. Typically conventions can include thousands of folks. Each of these people has different tastes in music and it is my job as disc jockey to cater to those interests. A certain kind of playlist cannot dominate an event because you run the danger of alienating some of the crowd and making the whole experience less fun for every one.

You also get to introduce crucial speakers in conventions making it critical that you’ve got a good voice. I had to work a lot on that because I used to rely heavily on the DJ Music that I played to attach to the bunch, but now I suspect I’m slowly getting the hang of it. Just a few weeks back I introduced a key note spokesman in a sales convention and everybody clapped for me. In hindsight, they could be clapping for the spokesman.
